Summer Camp: Build Your World~ July27-31

Service Description

Calling all youth artists, crafters, and DIY makers! Build your world, using cardboard, glue, paint & more. Students are encouraged to build out their own mini worlds, to create a home or city scape, including the creatures who live there. All materials are provided. The only limit is the imagination. 9am-4pm For children, ages 6-12 years, who enjoy spending  time making art and trying out new materials and artistic styles.  ​What to Expect: Students will learn how to make 1- 3 art projects based on a certain art technique and style. They may work with various mediums, including watercolor paints, pastels and cardboard assemblage. ​ Activities: In addition to art projects, students will also play games and have plenty of movement opportunities through out the day. Including a daily nature and art walk, weather dependent.   ​ Goals: To build confidence in their artistic abilities and develop further their style. The hope is to finish all art projects and showcase their art the end of the session. But really, making art is about the process, so that may be the student's final goal.​ ​ What to bring: Students should bring a lunch, a sun hat, and close-toed shoes. All art supplies and snack will be provided.  ​
